What should I expect?

A party at Expressions Art Bar is a place to have fun and bring home a masterpiece.  Everyone paints together, but you can add your own style as desired.  This place is about being social, having a good time and feeling the creative energy.  A drink in your hand, a brush in the other hand, listening to tunes, chatting with friends and expressing yourself is what its all about!  Our motto is Laugh, Sip & Create!

How long is a paint party?

Our parties are approximately 2 1/2 hours depending on the painting including breaks and the flow of the group.

How do I make a reservation?

Go to our online calender, click on a date/painting and book online.  We encourage you to make an advanced reservation due to limited seating.  We reserve the right to cancel class if less than 6 people have signed up.  Walk-in painters are welcome if there is availability and the class is not cancelled.

What is included in the price?

We provide all of the art supplies (easel, 16x20 canvas, paint, brushes, and aprons), step-by-step instruction and you go home with a fun masterpiece!

Can I cancel and do you offer refunds?

We will not charge your credit card if you cancel at least 48 hours before the party.  If you cancel at least 24 hours before the party we can give you store credit.  Please let us know as soon as possible so another painter can fill your spot.  You can email us at info@expressionsartbar.com.  Private parties cancelled with at least two weeks notice can get a full refund.  Parties cancelled with at least a week notice can get store credit for future events.

Do you serve alcohol?

Yes, we will have wines, local craft beers, non alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Can I bring my own food and BYOB?

Sorry, BYOB is not permitted in Southborough.  Food may be permitted with approval from Expressions Art Bar during private events.  If you need help with a caterer during your private party please email us.  We have refreshments and prepackaged snacks for sale.

Can my kids attend?

Yes.  We often have family paint parties and kids/teen paint parties that kids can attend.  During our evening parties, attendees must be at least 16 years old and accompanied by a parent/guardian, or person authorized by their parent guardian.  Minors who attend evening sessions will have a hand stamp as well.

Can I book a private party?

Definitely!  We offer several options for private parties and team building.  These include parties for adult groups, kids birthdays, fundraising events, and corporate parties.  We also offer Expressions on the Go, where we bring the fun to you.

Do you provide ASL parties or ASL interpreters?

We have some parties with a Deaf instructor, ASL night events and some with ASL interpreters.  We would like to provide this at least once a month.  If the demand is more, we will gladly add more events!  Please look at the online calender to see which party will provide these services.  If you would like to book a group or a private party that would like interpreters or an instructor that uses ASL please fill out the online form or email us at (info@expressionsartbar.com).  We would appreciate at least two weeks notice for private events.  Anyone is still welcome to attend one of our regularly scheduled parties.  If you have additional questions please email us or call us on VP at 508-475-5664.
